Discover the extraordinary beauty hidden within nature.
Join us for a unique two-day immersive workshop where natural materials and everyday discarded objects are transformed into remarkable works of art under the guidance of Kalaimaamani Shri Umapathy, one of India's renowned eco-artisans from Puducherry.
This workshop is designed for anyone who loves creativity, nature, sustainability, and traditional craftsmanship. Whether you are an artist, teacher, student, environmental educator, architect, designer, parent, or simply someone who enjoys making things by hand, this experience will inspire you to see nature with new eyes.
Throughout the workshop, participants will learn to create beautiful artistic pieces using naturally available and reclaimed materials such as gourds, dried plant materials, twigs, seed pods, bark, coconut shells, bamboo, vines, driftwood, agricultural waste, and other biodegradable resources.
More than learning techniques, this workshop encourages participants to rediscover the joy of creating with their hands while embracing sustainable living and responsible use of natural resources.
The workshop combines demonstrations, guided practical sessions, creative exploration, and personal mentoring in the peaceful forest surroundings of Maivarai Environmental Retreat Center, making it an unforgettable learning experience.
