Kalari Forest School is one of a kind when it comes to kids/family camping. Mr Yogesh (founder) has a unique ideology in terms of running this place. His schedules for the guests are amazingly different, interesting, engaging and knowledge gaining. We went from our kid's school, with a group of 22 kids, children enjoyed every minute of the stay. Accommodations were very simple yet very pleasant. Food was prepared by Mr Ramarajan anna (care taker) gave literally a home made feel. The schedule for the three days was made based on the kid's interest and choices. trek to a nearby waterfall, trek to bird watch and a stream, camp fire, night in the tent, science experiments, beautiful documentary movies in the auditorium and list goes on. It was a wonderful memory to cherish for years to come and we are definitely going back. Would strongly recommend!

We had one of the best times at Kalari. Stay, food and hospitality were all amazing. My 2 year old daughter enjoyed every minute of the camp. Yogesh is very particular in making us comfortable and spend quality time without strict schedules. We trekked to a falls and then to a stream in the forest. Visited a Paliyan tribal village to explore their lifestyle and current difficulties. Yogesh, Yogi, Bittu were all wonderful people to talk to especially some of Yogesh’s travel experiences are scintillating. Ramaraj is one of the best cook, Ilayaraj made sure all the arrangements are done on time and shared wonderful facts of Pannaikadu Boys town and its founder Joe Homan. Simply superb. My 11 years old son attended the 3 days camp. He loved it. The ambience is good and the care they show is awesome. My son had a good stay and all the activities ( trekking, camp fire etc) they engage are very interesting and useful. My son made new friends and had a wonderful experience. Overall a very good place that every kid should go, stay and create ever green memory. Of sure will send my son for camp in the upcoming days.
