Description
Scope of Work
The objective of this contract is to engage the Contractor for the efficient harvesting of mature coffee cherries from the designated plantation area and handling them as per agreed terms.
The Contractor shall undertake the following activities:
1. Harvesting Operations
Identify and selectively harvest only ripe coffee cherries.
Ensure minimal damage to plants, branches, and unripe cherries.
Carry out harvesting within the agreed timeline and crop cycle.
2. Labor Management
Arrange and manage skilled and unskilled labor required for harvesting.
Ensure adequate workforce to complete harvesting within schedule.
Provide necessary supervision for quality control.
3. Collection & Handling
Collect harvested cherries and transport them to the designated collection point within the farm.
Use appropriate containers to prevent spoilage or contamination.
Avoid mixing of unripe, overripe, or defective cherries.
4. Cleaning of Harvest Area
Ensure that the farm area is left clean post-harvest.
Remove fallen or waste material generated during harvesting.
